Ameerah Gierdien is a Finance and Administrative assistant at the African Centre for Cities. She is currently completing her studies in Industrial and Organisational Psychology. She joined the University of Cape Town in 2023 as a Finance and Administrative assistant at the UCT Graduate School of Business.

She is committed to providing exceptional finance and administrative support services to Principal Investigators, Researchers, Consultants and Visiting Scholars. Ameerah adeptly assists the financial and administrative team with purchasing, funds reporting and general administrative duties, contributing to the overall effectiveness of operations. Additionally, her role includes managing the diaries of the Director and Deputy Directors, facilitating smooth communication and scheduling within the organization.
